Since 1967, Crusader Paper Company has provided finishing services to the paper and printing industries. We have the following production capabilities:

Folio Sheeting
Crusader converts rolls of paper into sheets neatly-piled and secured by strong wrappers and bands.

• Jumbo rolls as large as 76 inches in width and 84 inches in diameter are converted precisely into sheets ranging in size from 17"x22" to 54"x77" or larger.
• Variation in dimension is carefully measured and controlled, and size and squareness are always within tolerance for the most exacting commercial printing.
• Double fly-knife cutters with roll edge guiding assure clean edges along with accuracy of size and squareness.
• Quantities are counted electronically with two independent counters on each machine.
• Piles are precisely jogged to ensure that skids of paper are press-ready for high-speed, productive printing.
• Custom packaging is according to detailed specifications, as provided by each customer.
• Skids of paper from Crusader can be run on any printing press with fewer washups.

Cartoning
Crusader is equipped to pack folio-size sheets into cartons and stack the cartons securely on pallets.

• Carton tops are glued and vacuum-sealed for preservation of contents during storage and shipping.
• Labels of identification are affixed to each carton.

Slitting/Rewinding
Crusader can slit wider rolls into narrower rolls and rewind larger-diameter rolls to smaller-diameter rolls on variously-sized cores.

Accurate high-speed slitters and rewinders operated by skilled persons turn out the highest quality rolls for digital printing and industrial packaging.

Slitting
Wide rolls are converted to widths as narrow as one inch.

Rewinding
Large-diameter rolls are rewound to smaller-diameter rolls for digital printing, packaging and other end uses.
